If you face financial challenges or fall into one of our target groups, such as being female, living in specific boroughs, having a disability, being a NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training), or working with the LBA, we encourage you to apply. As a scholarship recipient, you’ll have the chance to enrol in various courses, such as referee, table official, and coaching programs (Levels 1 and 2*). Once accredited, you’ll become an integral part of the basketball workforce and gain access to a wide range of job opportunities. ROC’s have the potential to earn a competitive income, with event rates ranging from £17.50 to £50 on average. In addition to our courses, we also offer a Deposit and Pay Back Scheme, which removes the financial barrier that may hinder your career progression. When you apply for the LBA scholarship, you have the chance to qualify for a scholarship that allows you to pay off the course fees by working an agreed amount of LBA sessions.
