The seasonal LBA membership designed for all types of organisations, including sports clubs, charity organisations and sports academies. Organisations will gain LBA as a partner who can enable growth and support event planning for their business.

  • SUPPORT. The LBA can support your organisation’s independent projects by providing information about exclusive funding opportunities, as well as cooperating with organisations in order to receive funding grants.

Process

Once registered as an organisation, each member must also register as an individual. After the organisation registration, each member will be sent an email with a coupon code for free access to the individual membership.

Price

  • £125 per basketball season – Tier 1 (up to 5 people on the 19 development courses)
  • £215 per basketball season  – Tier 2 (up to 10 people on the 19 development courses)
  • £385 per basketball season – Tier 3 (up to 15 people on the 19 development courses)
 
We understand that there are organisations (eg educational institutions) within London who seek to play other organisations in competitive games but are unable to make the commitment to monthly basketball leagues for various reasons.
We at the LBA are endlessly pursuing our goal of sharing the game of basketball to all of London for its boundless benefits. A goal which has prompted us to provide a new service to organizations experiencing conflicts to commit to competitive leagues.
Our School to School Basketball Network (SSBN) is a network of Schools and Organisations with a like minded desire to participate within friendly competitive matches.
By joining the SSBN your organisation will provide your contact information and type of competition sought out. Once completed you will immediately be integrated into a network providing the contact information of organisations with shared aspirations as yours.
All members of the SSBN will get access to discounts on LBA basketball officiating and coaching courses.
Another perk to joining the SSBN will be granted to three of the students of your organisation’s selection. The three kids of your selection will be inducted into the LBA Media Crew for free. Induction into this crew will include the enrollment into our media certification program where students will learn how to properly film, edit, and produce media content.
By providing this opportunity to kids with media interest you will be granting these individuals benefit by providing them an advantageous skill, a skill which will open doors to further opportunities amongst varying LBA events as we will hire them as volunteer or paid workers to do media content on events, in addition to the ways this new skill will benefit their own personal endeavors as this is a very sought after skill within the job market.
Being a member of this network also grants access to our various capabilities as an organisation, meaning we can assist in providing referees for games, score tables, and various other forms of equipment.
