2019 Westminster Midseason Tournament

Introduction to Annual Event

The London Basketball Association is happy to announce that the 5th Westminster School Midseason Tournament will be held on the 4th – 5th of December. Again, this year this tournament will bring multiple teams and individuals together to watch and play basketball.

This tournament involves Westminster secondary schools for U14 and U16 boys and girls. Teams from nine different schools have confirmed to take part in the tournament. It will be one day for each group full on matches. The winners of each group will be awarded trophies and medals at the end of the Tournament. And it isn’t just the winners who’ll get recognitions, all players have the chance to show their skills and win the most valuable player award!

The LBA will also provide referees, table officials and coaching courses to the schools. We really hope that students from each of the different schools get qualified and put these skills to use when we see them in action on the court too!

You can also keep up with the live results and schedule on this post throughout the day.

Once the day is over, make sure you check out our Facebook, Instagram and website to view all of the days action. From the great success we’ve already had in our school competitions, you can rest assured that students participating will have the experience of a lifetime!
