2019 Brent Midseason Tournament

Introduction to Annual Event

The London Basketball Association will organise their first Borough of Brent Midseason School’s Tournament for both U14 and U16 girls and boys. The tournament host will be Crest Academy Secondary School and the tournament would be held from the 12th – 13th of November.

This tournament allows 6 to 10 teams and individuals the opportunity to take part in a real-life basketball tournament and experience the highs and lows that occur with any tournament experience.

It will be an action filled day of basketball, where the winners will be rewarded at the end of each day with trophies and medals. LBA and Brent have been talking for 2 years and we will finally be a part of the Brent Midseason Tournament. This year is just the beginning since the goal for the future is to help organise both Brent’s league and tournament.

Through this partnership, LBA will provide referees, table officials and coaching courses to the schools. We hope the students from each of the different schools get qualified and put these skills to good use by seeing them as referees and table officials on our league and tournaments for years to come. Keep up with the live results and the schedule on the SWISH app and LBA’s social media throughout the day.

Once the day is over, make sure you check out our Facebook, Instagram and website to view all of the days’ highlights and action. From the great success we’ve already had in our school competitions you can rest assured that students participating will have the experience of a lifetime!
