Want To Play

Looking to get into basketball? Here you will be able to find all available sessions where you can have fun and develop your skills! We are offering a relaxed (re)introduction to basketball. Whether you have previously played a little or a lot, or even if you are trying out the sport for the first time, we have a session to suit you. All of our sessions are accessible and affordable!

We have several templates depending on the session but you’ll find many half court 4v4’s and full court 5v5 sessions. Most sessions play first to 7 points or who ever is winning after 7 minutes (1 point within the 3 point line, 2 points outside). Winner stays on. Winners can stay on for up to 3 games before coming off.

Sign up to our newsletter at the bottom of the page to keep up to date with the latest news and events.

You MUST complete a player consent form (above) in order to partake in any of our activities. This form will need to be completed once a year as it lasts until September.

      Holiday Activities

Basketball holiday activities are great! Just about everybody can take part whether you’re a novice, intermediate, or expert you will enjoy the sessions. We ensure a safe and friendly atmosphere with professional coaches who deliver the sessions and include topics such as nutrition, strength and conditioning and fundamental basketball skills.

      • Our excellent coaches pride themselves on their work as theyunderstand the impact it has in the community. They have all been DBS checked and Basketball England certified. They have first aid, child protection and equality in sports coaching training.
      • This is also a great platform for up and coming coaches to gain experience by shadowing head coaches. You can be nurtured, learn the drills, tips and tricks. If anybody is interested in becoming a basketball coach please click here
      • We aim to make the sessions accessible to all. Sessions are open to partially disabled, male & female, all race and religion, and ages starting from 5 years old.
      • Other opportunities are opened up during these camps. If you want to continue playing we can help direct you to a local club.
      • We are happy to promote other basketball camps which take place around London, so if you organise any please do not hesitate to send an e-mail with relevant details to info@thelba.co.uk.
