Is the UK’s leading sporting legacy charity of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Sported provides support to community and grassroots organisations that deliver ‘Sport for Development‘. Our Members do sport in an effort to bring about social change within their communities. Sported support these organisations by providing business resources and financial assistance so that they can concentrate on doing what they do best – improving the lives of disadvantaged young people through sport.
London Youth support and challenge young people to excel. This is delivered through various programmes that comprise youth action, youth leadership, sports development and employability are just some of the activities they offer. Aiding a network of over 400 diverse communities, London Youth reach out to over 75,000 young Londoners.
Their objective is to help acquire the skills and strength to empower a difference for communities. Over 20 years they have continued to support a prosperous and independent local voluntary sector. Also focusing on helping other organisations administer the best and safest experience for their volunteers facilitating them to deliver the best possible services to the community.
3Space work in association with Landlords and Leaseholders who in turn offer organisations that are for the betterment of the community, a temporary free of charge access to vacant properties. Spaces are accessible to charities, registered community organisations and social enterprises for brief pop up projects. This is all subsidised by Landlords that benefit from the charity using its space.
A prosperous center that offers an energetic mix of the school community and club based activities. Established in November 2007 it is stationed on the site of Westminster Academy. Academy Sport is aided by Westminster Academy which is in association with Westminster City Council.
The Westway Sports Trust was established in the 1970’s and has lead the way in community ownership for major public assets. Through this enterprise they all collectively use their own resources to generate earnings and in turn use this to fund a wide range of community benefits. The community programmes aspire to devise new income, conserve enterprise, discover new initiatives and fabricate new partnerships.
The Westminster Sports Unit seeks to promote, facilitate, develop and deliver innovative high quality sports and physical activity programmes for those who live, work and go to school in Westminster. The Sports Unit is made up of four main teams and delivery programmes across the city.
